Tiger Eye and Quina Stick

$400.00

Here is a nice stick with pleasant, subdued red colors and plenty of chatoyancy. The stone top is made of red tiger eye, which is wildly chatoyant bands that show nicely even in dimmer light. The shaft is Quina wood from S. America, a rarely seen timber, this is my first shaft with it. Total length measures 38" and can be shortened to fit.

These stone-topped sticks that I make are lovely and functional walking aids. I do recommend a wrist strap be used with one though, or used with extra care, as a fall to a hard surface could damage the stone.
