Dinosaur Bone and Imbuia Stick
Dinosaur Bone and Imbuia Stick
This walking stick features an ancient bone handle from a Dinosaur! Yes, that's correct, its a round sphere carved from a large piece of fossilized bone that is Millions of years old dating back to the dinosaurs. The pattern in the stone shows the original cell structure from within the bone, now fossilized and hardened to solid agate. The shaft is Imbuia wood from Brazil, a rich and beautiful looking timber. Total length measures 37.75" and can be shortened to fit.
These stone-topped sticks that I make are lovely and functional walking aids. I do recommend a wrist strap be used with one though, or used with extra care, as a fall to a hard surface could damage the stone.
