This is a bubinga wood cane stand for holding 8 pieces. If the pictures are not obvious enough, this wood is gorgeous! It’s a rich color with lovely chatoyancy and its quite dense making this stand heavy and extra stable. The top and bottom are each crafted from single wide pieces of bubinga without gluing together smaller pieces for a nice continuous grain, plus there is some figure in the wood grain. Bubinga is a protected species from Africa that is growing scarce and expensive. The bottom recesses are lined with leather for a nice look and feel. This stand is a great way to display a collection of canes and sticks with style. The stand is hand rubbed with natural linseed oil that penetrates, seals, and protects the wood; it has a very soft feel and luster look.
