Buloke Pistol Grip Cane

$600.00

This modern, pistol grip style cane is made using Buloke wood from Australia. Buloke is known for being one of the hardest woods in the world. I even heard report from a customer who purchased a solid Buloke cane that was run over by a car in a parking lot and was barely scratched. The handle is covered with interesting grain patterns and various kinds of figure throughout, most notably birdseye figure. Buloke is also a rare wood and challenging to obtain because it is endangered and has been a protected species for 25 years. This piece of Buloke was salvage harvested from a dead tree on a farmer's property. The shaft is leopard wood from S. America - its grain has some similarities with buloke's grain and the colors match well too; its also a dense and durable wood. The divider and end piece on the handle are brass with centerpieces of figured Afzelia wood. This cane's neutral color scheme makes its perfect for daily use, but classy enough for special occasions. Total length measures 38" and can be shortened to fit.
