Blackwood and Cocobolo Pistol Grip Cane

$600.00

This Heirloom quality cane features two world renown exotic hardwoods. The handle is African Blackwood, the densest and darkest member of the rosewood family of species. African blackwood is very dark like ebony, but not black; in fact African blackwood is very chatoyant but you'll need a bright light or the sun to see this wood's gorgeous grain come alive. The divider is brass and thin ebony highlighting two pieces of birdseye figured Siam rosewood from Vietnam. Finishing the piece is a shaft of dense, and dark Cocobolo rosewood from Central America. Total length measures 38" and can be shortened to fit.

Last images are of the Blackwood tree (locals call it Mpingo), in natural habitat.
