Marblewood, Walnut, and Serpentine "T" Cane
Marblewood, Walnut, and Serpentine "T" Cane
Something different here, a "T" Style cane that has been entirely lathe-turned with my signature hand-carved spiraled shaft and lapidary inlays. The handle and bottom are marble wood, a yellowish wood with dark brown streaks running randomly though the wood - similar to black and white ebony. The bulk of the shaft is Oregon claro walnut, the brown of the walnut is about a perfect match with the brown in the marblewood. On the ends of the handle are two green serpentine lapidary inlays. The handle is joined to the shaft with a sturdy 7/8" tenon that's been pinned from the sides, a functional and visible joint. Total length measures 38" tall and it is not adjustable.
