Blackwood and Charoite Cane
Blackwood and Charoite Cane
This heirloom quality lapidary cane is made using African Blackwood, the densest and darkest member of the rosewood family of species. African blackwood is very dark like ebony, but not black; in fact African blackwood is chatoyant but you'll need a bright light or the sun to see this wood come alive. The divider and end pieces on the handle are exotic and rare Charoite stone from Russia. Its obviously a handsome purple color but its also chatoyant and has lovely patterns. Total length measures 38" and can be shortened to fit.
This cane is heavy, users of small stature may tire with extended use.
