This heirloom quality, hand crafted walking cane is made from visually striking Brown Mallee Burl from Australia, ancient red gum wood, and Madagascar rosewood. The laminated handle is 7 layers of wood in total, the center is ancient red gum wood that was pulled from a river bed in Australia, this material is several thousand years old. There are thin layers of walnut wood, then the mallee burl on the outside. The divider is the same layers of wood with bronze metal added. The shaft is Madagascar rosewood, one of the world's finest tonal woods for musical instruments. Today any wood from Madagascar is rare and becoming rarer. Total length measures 38" and can be shortened to fit.
