A stunning ancient cane with an ancient bone handle. It is believed to be ancient whale vertebrae that was trawled from the North Sea floor, but it could also be another marine animal or even woolly mammoth bone, because I have woolly mammoth and woolly rhino bones from the north sea floor as well. Regardless, it beautiful and likely at least 10,000 years old. The shaft is exhibition quality ringed gidgee from Australia and its tight curl figure is off the charts good! This is a heavy cane. Total length measures 38” and can be shortened to fit.
